Not the best photo I've ever posted, but a tree with freaky tentacles growing out of it ???! How could I even consider passing that up ??
I offered one million US dollars last year on instagram to anyone who could tell me what this was/is... (monopoly US dollars, naturally - but I assumed they knew that already). I still have not found an answer besides my dad's hypothesis that a telephone or electrical wire began growing through the tree before it was clipped, and over time, the tree grows and pushes the foreign object outward, creating that incredibly disturbing appearance of tentacle growth . . . I can't come up with a better theory myself!
